Pop superstar Dua Lipa and actor Callum Turner brought their wedding celebrations to the sun-drenched shores of Sicily this weekend, hosting an intimate gathering of family and friends at a historic venue in Palermo just days after tying the knot in London.

The newlyweds were spotted Saturday evening greeting approximately 80 guests at Villa Igiea, the century-old Art Nouveau hotel perched on Monte Pellegrino’s slopes. Lipa, 29, wore a custom white lace gown with cap sleeves, while Turner, 34, opted for a classic navy suit without a tie.

A Weekend of Mediterranean Festivities

Sources close to the couple said the Sicily celebration marks the second part of their wedding festivities. The pair reportedly exchanged vows in a private London ceremony on December 28, attended by only immediate family members. But this Italian gathering offered something different—a chance to celebrate with extended family and close friends in a more relaxed setting.

The weekend kicked off Friday with a welcome dinner at a local trattoria in Palermo’s historic quarter, where guests enjoyed traditional Sicilian dishes including pasta con le sarde and arancini. Saturday’s main event featured live music, with several musicians from Lipa’s touring band performing acoustic sets throughout the evening.

From London to Sicily

The couple’s decision to hold their reception in Sicily wasn’t random. Turner’s mother has Sicilian heritage, and the actor has spoken publicly about his connection to the island. Lipa herself has Mediterranean roots through her Albanian-Kosovar parents, making the location personally meaningful for both.

“They wanted somewhere that felt like home to both of them,” a representative for the couple said. “Sicily offered that perfect blend of family history and natural beauty.”

Star-Studded Guest List

While the couple’s team hasn’t released an official guest list, attendees reportedly included several faces from both music and film industries. Guests arrived throughout Friday, with most staying at hotels across Palermo’s coastal district.

Security was notably tight. Private security personnel restricted access to Villa Igiea’s grounds, and guests were asked to surrender phones during the ceremony portion of Saturday’s event.

Lipa and Turner began dating in early 2024 after meeting through mutual friends in London. Their relationship became public that summer when paparazzi photographed them at a North London restaurant. Turner proposed in November during a trip to the Cotswolds.

The couple is expected to remain in Sicily through Tuesday before heading back to London, where Lipa continues work on her fourth studio album. Turner begins filming a new thriller in Budapest next month.
